AHB Community School

Austin Home Base is a program that provides a "home base" for children ages 5 to 13. It was created to meet the needs of families looking for a balance between homeschooling and private school. By providing children with nurturing, small group class time of 15-18 hours each week, AHB gives children the chance to learn and explore the many educational opportunities in and outside of the classroom. The program is a great match for families looking for excellent educational opportunities in a low student : teacher environment that still allows for time outside the classroom to focus on time with family, community and real world education.

The children who have experienced the AHB program are eager, enthusiastic learners. Passionate, creative teachers work together with parents and families to engage their children in learning opportunities and real world application using our hands-on, thematic program. Because the groups are small and the learning time is carefully guided, we are able to provide children with a quality education in a short amount of time. This also leaves them with more time outside the classroom to experience childhood. Children who attend AHB are inquisitive thinkers who are engaged in their community and have time to develop family values and relationships.

We encourage you to set up a time to come and see why children at Austin Home Base love to learn!
